Onions (chopped and sliced) - 3nos medium each Garlic (chopped) - 10 cloves Basil leaves - ¼ cup Spinach leaves (blanched) - 1 bundle Cottage Cheese (grated) - 1 cup Ingredients Pasta Sauce Heat Godrej Sunflower Oil in a pan, add chopped onions, garlic (half the qty), add blanched tomatoes, salt, peppercorns, mixed herbs and ¼ of fresh basil and let it cook till the tomatoes are completely mashed. Blend it to a smooth paste after it cools down. For the pasta sauce. Pasta Boil Ziti/ Penne pasta till al dente with a little salt. Remove from hot water and keep aside in cold water. In another pan, heat Godrej Sunflower Oil, sauté onions and garlic. Add blanched spinach, salt and sauté for a few more minutes. Keep aside and let it cool down. Take a baking dish, grease it with some oil and layer the bottom with pasta sauce. Add the pasta and top it with the spinach mixture. Add the grated or crumbled cottage cheese, grated cheese and sprinkle dry herbs. Repeat this layer twice or till it reaches the top of your baking dish. Add the cheese sauce and herbs. Bake it at 135°C for 15 minutes till the top layer is gratinated. Garnish with basil leaves and serve with garlic bread.
