Baked Apples with Singhada Executive Chef, Sarovar Hometel Goregoan Chef Ingredients Mix apples, coconut, raisins, sugar and all spices. Mix singhada atta, grated jaggery / sugar in butter and 2tbsp Godrej Sunflower Oil until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Brush the cake tin or bowl with oil and layer the apples. Top it with crumble mixture. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180 C/ 350 F for 20 minutes or until the top turns crisp and brown. Serve hot with ice cream or fresh cream. Method Apples - peeled and cut in cubes - ½ kg Grated coconut - ½ Raisins – 50g Crushed cardamom seeds - ½ tsp. Cinnamon powder - ¾ tsp. Cloves - 3 Grated nutmeg Grated Jaggery / sugar - 2-3 tbsp. Singhada Atta (Water Chestnut Flour) - 150g. Chilled butter - 75g Grated Jaggery / sugar - 75g Godrej Sunflower Oil - 3tbsp 13
