Enjoy this perfect summer fruit salad with an easy-to-make yoghurt dressing

Summer brings with it a bonanza for fruit lovers. Seasonal fruits are not just refreshing; they are also packed to the brim with nutrients. Summer fruits are a great for hydration and a tasty meal substitute.

With layers of grapes, apples, blackberries, pineapples and crunchy pecans, meet the most summery salad ever. Simply add in the fruits to make this salad, and mix with a sweet, delicious dressing for a dessert to remember.



Ingredients
For the honey-lemon yogurt dressing
Healthy Alternatives honey 1 to 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp, freshly squeezed
Healthy Alternatives Greek yoghurt ½ cup
Lemon zest ¼ tsp
For the fruit salad
Apples 2 cups, thinly sliced
Grapes 2 cups
Fresh pineapple 2 cups, diced
Blackberries 1 cup
Pecans 1 cup, halved

METHOD
Mix yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey in a small jar. Stir or shake well to blend. Stack the fruits one above the other in a large salad bowl and add pecans on the top. Pour the yogurt mixture into the fruit salad and mix thoroughly. Serve immediately.
