This millet snack is perfect for those mid-afternoon munchies

Bajra is a high energy food that is healthier than both rice and wheat. This bajra and jowar snack is both nutritious and tasty. With this bajra bhajia, you can satisfy your craving for fried food without feeling guilty about the calories.

Ingredients
Bajra flour 1 cup
Jowar flour 1 cup
Chana dal (split chickpeas) 1 cup, ground
Onions and green chillies finely chopped
Ginger garlic paste to taste
Cumin seeds (jeera) 1 tbsp
Water 1 glass
Oil half pan
Salt to taste

Method
Create a mixture of bajra flour, jowar flour and ground chana dal in a bowl. Add onions, green chillies and the ginger garlic paste to the mixture. Add the cumin seeds and salt. Add water and make a batter. Heat the oil in a pan. Make equal sized balls of the batter; press them between your palms and slide into the oil. Remove the bhajia from the oil when cooked and dab with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve hot accompanied by tomato sauce or green chilli.
