Teriyaki chicken with spring onion on sesame crackers is simple to make, but boasts of complex flavours. This recipe from Godrej Nature’s Basket’s Food Quotient Report 2016 can serve as a quick weeknight meal or a delicious appetiser. You can now enjoy this subtly sweet and spicy Japanese treat at home!


Chicken breasts 2
Teriyaki marinade 2 tbsp
Chilli oil 1 tbsp
Spring onion 1/2 cup, chopped
Toasted sesame oil 2 tbsp
Sesame oil 2 tbsp, toasted
Rice crackers 12

Marinate the chicken breasts in Teriyaki sauce and chilli oil for an hour. Pan grill or grill, cut into fine cubes and toss with chopped spring onion, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Serve on the rice crackers.
