How to rescue your favourite crispy snacks?

Crackers, biscuits, chips not to mention freshly fried papads, becomes soft if they are not stored properly. The rains can prove to be a dampener too. And for a foodie, there isn’t anything more off-putting than to eat food that has lost the lovely crunch.
Here’s how you can rescue these snacks and make them crispy again.

: Arrange the chips, crackers or biscuits in a neat single layer on a paper towel or napkin on a glass plate. Put this in the
and heat on high for 30 seconds. Check if the food is crisp. If not, give it another few seconds in the microwave. Store in a tightly closed container.
: Pre-heat the oven or OTG to about 150-175*C. Bake the food for about ten minutes, turning it over at least twice in that time. When crisp, allow it to cool completely before storing in an air-tight container.

The best tip to avoid sogginess of crunchy food is to make sure that you do not make or store too much of it. Buy or cook just as much as you need for that one occasion. That will save you time and effort!
