The teams had to include two mandatory ingredients — Godrej Vegetable Oils and California Walnuts — in their dishes. The participants also had to use Godrej Protekt hand wash before they began cooking.
The Creative Hour cook-off saw home chefs and food bloggers join forces to prepare a lost recipe in just 30 minutes. The participants had a whale of a time planning and preparing lip-smacking dishes.
The teams raced against the clock to prepare scrumptious dishes that impressed the judges. The delicious dishes put up were a testament to the teamwork and effort of home chefs and food bloggers alike.
The Creative Hour cooking contest saw the teams bring some interesting recipes to life using a variety of ingredients including mushrooms, lettuce, strawberries, brinjal, onions, Godrej Veg Oil and walnuts.
Chefs Irfan Pabaney and Anjali Pathak, and APB Cook Studio founder Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal judged the dishes that the teams plated up. Food was tasted, questions asked and the idea behind each dish explained.
The winning team received their award and Godrej Veg Oils hampers from SR Surve, Associate Vice President, Veg Oils Division and Protekt Master Chef award from Somasree Bose, Head Marketing, Godrej Consumer Products Limited.
